The company lets 18 farms covering 4,660 ha to tenants on a variety of tenancy arrangements. These farms vary from arable, root crop and dairy farms in the Moray Firth to sheep and stock farms in Perthshire.
In recent years tenants have diversified their activities to include cheese production, vegetable processing and tourism.
These properties include an Antiques Centre, local retail units including a bakery and a greengrocer, a caravan park, small office units, sand and gravel quarries, a windfarm and telecommunications’ infrastructure.
The company is the largest shareholder in Inverness Airport Business Park Ltd, a proposal business, which has planning permission to develop 350,000m2 of business, industrial and freight space around Inverness Airport. The company is also a partner in Castle Stuart Golf Links in a project which has permission to develop 2 golf courses, a hotel/spa and timeshare properties on land owned by the company near Castle Stuart, Inverness.
The Company is landlord to the Braes of Doune Wind Farm, is building and will operate a single 330 kw wind turbine in Moray and is in the permitting process for a 500 kw Hydro electric scheme at Doune.
