We are delighted that Euan Tomes, who works for Doune Woodlands, one of Moray Estates woodland enterprises, was awarded top student at the Scottish School of Forestry, UHI Inverness in 2022 by the Institute of Chartered Foresters. Euan has been carrying out project work for Moray Estates for a few years but has recently been employed full time to assist in the delivery of high nature value forestry projects on the estates. Amongst the projects Euan is working on are some significant and exciting afforestation projects which will play a role in Scotland’s transition to net zero.
